Budget-a futile exercise

It is unfortunate to write about the topic that if budget is any more relevant to common people or it is simply waste of time for the people to discuss about it . some people argue that budget is no more relevant to common people as government can take any decision at any point of time . Budget is full of jargons and common man finds it unable to understand it . But seriously talking about budget is simply waste of time or it makes an impact on common man .
well... first of all it is a sign of matured society to discuss about the matters which are relevant . it symbolises that citizens are keen to know about the state of their country .Even though budget exercise is nothing but presenting the statement of account for the entire fiscal year with full of jargons , participation of people shows that people are interested in knowing the performance of the government . it is said that media should not waste its time and money on budget as it is a regular excise and one day event . Here, i want to bring some facts into consideration that when as a country we ready to devote such a large amount of time on the topic like gay marriage , whether Bombay should be called Mumbai etc ,Even these critics are ready to devote ample time on such topics , we find the discussion on budget waste of time . How cynical !!!. Is gay marriage is much more important than budget ?.
i am not saying that gay marriage or subject like this should be refrained from discussion , it also matters. what i want to convey is that every topic which is relevant to even a small section of society should be discussed in public forum . lets leave on the people to decide whether they want to take part or not.
In context of time and money being wasted by the media , i have nothing to say .The max i can say is that when media is ready to waste one full page on the issue" whether Shaid kissed Kareena in public or not ", i think they can waste half a page on the state of the country .
